On January 29, 2025, the Chiniot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), successfully organized a seminar focused on wood identification, quality assessment, and export procedures. The event was attended by key stakeholders from the Chiniot furniture industry, including manufacturers, exporters, and industry experts.

The seminar commenced with welcome remarks from Mr. Danish, the Founder President of the Chiniot Chamber of Commerce. Following this, Malik Shahbaz, President of the Chiniot Furniture Association, addressed the attendees, highlighting the importance of wood quality and export standards for the growth of the Pakistan furniture sector.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Khalid Rasool, Director General of E&M Division 2, TDAP, delivered an insightful address on the efforts TDAP is making to enhance Chiniot furniture exports. He assured that TDAP will support local manufacturers in gaining international exposure and market access.
